'tis the folly of many to consider themselves able. The more I think I can paint, the more I realise that I can't. The more I try to learn the less substantial my knowledge seems. Ah, the traumas of life. Perhaps one day I will really be able to paint, but not today. It is thus a shame I have to get a portrait done by January and another two massive oils by March. Screwed? Yes.
